DIY // Winking Pillow

For some reason every time I come home to stay at my mums house, every one is always gone! My family knows I'm coming home and they haven't seen me in weeks but always find a million excuses to leave. That leaves me to go through my mothers fabric bin and attempt to sew. So I sewed up this white on one side, black on the other side pillow. Then took a stab at stitching eyes onto the white side. The original plan was to cover the entire white side with open eyes. But once I realized that one eye was taking me forever, I gave up and settled with the winking! Which I like way better anyways. I made this from scratch, but it would be a lot simpler to go out and buy a pillow case and then to stitch the winking eyes onto that way. I found it a nice pass times as I was catching up on "The Fosters" and "Switched at Birth". You can have a look at a stitching tutorial here to try it yourself!

Review // The Early Bird

A while ago when Anna and I went on excursions to restaurants we found this super cool place called The Early Bird. It was really unique and artsy with all different kinds of posters/wall art and colours all over the place. Anna and I loved it in there! They also had some really yummy plates on their menu. I ordered the pirogues and Anna decided on the pull pork sandwich. Such good choices! I can definitely say I've been there a few times since then!

Web Wednesday // Cats in Mid Air

First off, who doesn't love a good cat flying through the air?  For some reason while I was pinning instead of doing homework, I just fell in love with these photos. Not necessarily the photography style, just the concept. I want my cat to jump through the air now! When I go home for a weekend from school I'll try it and let you know how it goes. I'm sure my cat probably won't like me after a while as she can get super moody real fast, but who knows, maybe she'll love me more after I get a killer shot!

Lookbook // White Tee & Jeans

Tis the season for laziness. I have super early classes so I tend to sleep in until the last minute then throw on something simple then head to school. Usually I end up doing my makeup on the way, and throwing my hair up. But I love having these new jeans in my closet. They make my lazy days look a little more classic grunge, rather than "that girl just rolled out of bed"!
