This past Sunday I had the pleasure of taking a small road trip to Detroit with my good friend Saraya and we had a lunch stop at Healthy Mama in Tecumseh. We ordered the Acai Smoothie Bowl, Taco Salad & All About the Avo Sandwich. Not only were we extremely impressed with how amazing the food was, but the whole aesthetic of the restaurant was on point!

Le Petit Bon Bon Macarons
Last weekend I planned a mock-wedding for my photography business and Le Petit Bon Bon collaborated with me. They provided the best macarons I have ever had! I snagged the left overs and had to make a blog post over here on Fresh Collidings. If you're having a little party, I highly recommend stopping and picking up some of these macarons for your guests!

Sushi Dinner Nights
Thanks to my girls I was able to go out and try a new restaurant tonight: Hanata! It's an all you can eat sushi place here in London. It was a last minute decision to head out, but totally worth it. This first week of school is going by smoothly, which leads me to believe that this year will be a good one!

Kale Chips
These kale chips are the easiest thing to make and the most addicting snack food I have ever had. I've even snuck this healthy snack into the theatres. That sounds kind of weird, but it's just so good.
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 Head of Kale
Sea salt
Spread out the kale onto a baking sheet and drizzle the olive oil evenly across all of the greens. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Once the oven has heated up, put the baking sheet of kale in and leave it for 2:30 minutes. When done, sprinkle sea salt all over. Then it's ready to serve!
Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Decided to make myself a little snack!
It's pretty straight forward if you wanted to make them. Melt the chocolate, dip the pretzel, sprinkle the sugar, and eat!

Berry Smoothie
So this is a pretty simple smoothie, but it was delicious and I just wanted to share.
Ingredients:
-1 1/2 Cups of frozen mixed berries
-1/2 Cup of Milk
-1/2 Cup of Vanilla Yogurt
-1 Cup of Spinach
-1/2 Cup of Kale
Then blended on high until smooth.
Super easy! That's the main reason I love smoothies. You can just whip together anything and it's always satisfying for me!
Happy Blending!

Breakfast
I go through these food moods, where I only eat one thing for all of breakfast, lunch and dinner until I'm fed up with it. Right now, I'm in the food craze of Honey Bunches of Oats and hot chocolate. Some say I'm addicted, but it won't last long. Once my jumbo family size box of cereal is gone, I'll probably move on to something else.
One thing I have noticed with my food moods, is that it's always something that takes little effort to make. I'm a pretty lazy chef, probably because I have no idea what I'm doing in the kitchen. I'll probably need to hire someone some day to cook for me, or else I'll be crawling back to my parents house just to get an actual dinner from time to time.
