Pancakes + Soft Flirt // Dining Room Tour

If you want to see the most delicious looking pancakes ever, please click "Read More" - probably the best pancakes I have ever had! Okay that might be a bit much, but they were tasty to say the least.
This look is inspired by a small business located right here in London On, Soft Flirt. They have a variety of banners, garland, tees, patches + more to pick from, with all of the soft and flirty typography.

10eighteen Cafe // London ON

Good morning beautiful people!
There has been a cafe I have been going to since they opened and I LOVE this place. I usually come to 10eighteen cafe to edit photos, have consultations or just eat that delicious looking charcuterie board (seriously so good). It's located at 1018 Dundas St here in London ON.

Dainty Gold Jewelry // Statement Grey

I think I'm in love! I received the most beautiful pieces from Statement Grey and I can't take them off! These earrings are completing my vibe with the natural/garden look that wraps around the lobe of the ear, along with the minimalist necklace to match. At the end of the day I keep these new pieces in safe keeping as I don't ever want to lose such beautiful work!

Little Black Off The Shoulder Dress

A little off the shoulders action in my little black dress with colourful embroidery from Forever 21. Also featuring UO sunnies and lace up flats from Old Navy.

Tiger's First Birthday

I can't believe that it is already my little pups first birthday! The time flew so quickly and I can't even imagine how tiny she used to be. If you have been following me on insta, you would see we just grew our family again by getting a Great Dane puppy! So, not only did Tiger have a birthday, she gained a sister this week too!

Pumpkin Hunting

October is probably my favourite month, for the obvious reasons; leaves, pumpkins, colours, apple cider, cozy sweaters, booties, etc. I could talk about it for hours.
Here I have a look dedicated to when I went pumpkin hunting with my younger siblings this past weekend. I was photographing family sessions in the morning, so I needed something practical (The Runners) yet sophisticated on top.

Review // Coucou Suzette

IT CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY!
I'm so excited to show off my new Coucou Suzette Enamel Pin!
I came across this cute little shop over on Etsy and fell in love with every single thing they had! Everything in shop is super unique and quirky. I literally want to fill up my entire jean jacket with these pins.

Lookbook // Fry Truck Stop

When out for ice cream with my siblings, you never know when you're going to come across colour french fry trucks!
Here I paired my comfiest shoes that I own (Converse from Journeys), with a modern professional look. Still keeping the blazer in it's classy form, adding a crop top with high waisted bohemian pants created a more modern and youthful vibe.
You can find this blazer & pant at Forever 21 and this crop top from Blue Notes.

My Beautiful Lunch Dates

Well everyone, here are my high school best friends (minus one). It's a rare occurrence that we are all free and able together any more as we're all living in different places and sometimes life just gets in the way.
We've been friends for the past 7 years, and these are the people who always make me feel grounded as a person, and encourage me to be myself. I can't believe that I am so blessed to have them in my life each and everyday.

Vlog // Week in the Life // 02

I feel like I need to get a move eventful life, going through my week I realize I just eat out, drive around and hang out with Matt all of the time!
But I'm starting to like filming clips of my life, it's a great way to keep memories and to show people that I'm a strange individual!

Trip To Alberta

Over the Christmas Holidays I had the pleasure of flying with my boyfriends family to Alberta. I had the opportunity of meeting extended family members and just having a really great time.
We stayed at a cottage outside of Edmonton where there was a completely frozen lake that just went on for forever. I also ended up doing family sessions and group shots over on that same lake. So over the course of five days we watched a million movies because there was no wifi or cable at night. The movies just never ended. Which was great for me! I am a movie fanatic. I saw so many movies I never had the time for before and it was awesome.
Overall it was such a great trip. One of the best things I love about travelling though, is the plane. I do love everything else about travelling and being with great people. But for some reason, as soon as I'm on a plane I just get so content and I actually get the excitement of the whole "travelling feeling".
On the way home, I had (the pleasure?) to sit next this bitter man. He wasn't old or anything, but he just could not stop complaining about everything. No, seriously, EVERYTHING. It was a mood buster, but whatever. Still a great 4 hour flight!

A Few Days With Vic

Every year since grade nine, I do a photo shoot of Vic. She was my first model (other then my sister) and has been supporting me through my business journey since the very beginning! It's been a while since we've actually hung out and we realized we don't have very many good shots of the two of us together, so of course I whip out the camera, head to my backyard and start shooting!
I had a blast spending the past few days with this girl, I'm so sad to send her off on that grey hound to go home today!

Happy October!

Happy October everyone!
I can't believe it's here! October is one of my favourite months because its the prime time for Fall. So I just want you to be prepared for a lot of Autumn themed posts this month. It's going to be awesome!!
But I thought I would start the month off with a self-portrait I took yesterday for fun. It all started with my friends (helen & emma) hand picking leaves off the ground from my neighbours lawn. Then we realized that I actually own a rake in the back shed! Then the process started to move a little faster. We raked up a bunch of leaves, brought them to the backyard and had a lay down. After I taught Emma which button was actually the shutter, we were in business! It worked out exactly how I thought it would, regardless of the rain that night, little sunlight and mosquitoes all over my body!
Below you can see some behind the scenes work!

Fanshawe Art Gallery

This week for one of my classes we had to take a "free choice" photograph and prepare it for a gallery. The whole gallery is a small set up of images from all of the students in the class and is on display for the rest of the week here at the college. I just thought I'd share it with you and you can also see my friend, Shannon's photo as well!

Second Half of Summer

 Happy Monday Readers!
I can't believe summer vacation is half over already, and then I'm off to another year at school.
This month I'm going to catch up on everything I am falling behind on like: this blog, housing stuff, photo ideas, etc. But for the month of July I have a co-op student which is going to help out so much! I'm so grateful for her!

So here's to the second half of summer!

Xoxo. Maria

Visit with Emilie

This girl right here is the best! We met in the beginning of the school year: Emilie at Western and I at Fanshawe. This made my whole summer just having her visit me for a few days just to hangout and do random things together. I'm really looking forward to living down the street from her next year! It's going to be so much fun!

Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Decided to make myself a little snack!
It's pretty straight forward if you wanted to make them. Melt the chocolate, dip the pretzel, sprinkle the sugar, and eat!
